This is a topic of our logic class, We had a very fun and useful discussion last week. In my opinion, it's a great topic. So, i post it here for u to think and share ur opinions. Hope u will happy.
Now, here is the question: "In Vietnam, women should go to work or just stay at home and become good housewives ?"
Show me ur precious ideas, make us believe in u.
Someday u'll stand in front of 1 thousand people, tell them some stupid, unbelievable things. And ur mission is to make them believe in u, in ur ridiculous story, to make ur speech met with loud applause. So, start practice ur skills right now, right here.

I'm a girl, I don't want to be just a housewife. I'd like to travel and help many people, but, I also want to take care of my family. So that, if my husband want me to stay at home, I will kick him. Seriously!!!

When I have kids, I will move to a place, which has many flowers, mountains, rivers to live... I want to have a small garden, my family and I will take care of it...
May be you're thinking that it's impossible, but It's my dream :)
Thanks for the interesting topic, Kha. It's not very new, of course, but it's interesting enough. Well, I myself want to be both. My career is certainly an important part of my life, and surely I want to achieve my goals in life. However, being able to take care of our family is happiness (all those cooking, washing, and blah blah blah can be happiness, or so I believe :) )

How sad you can just see the superficial side of me, dear. Anyway even if I were actually like that, how can you be sure I would stay the same 30 or 40 years later (if I can live that long =.=)? ;)

I want to live a simple life so I will be a housewife :). A happy family, full of laugh and joy is my dream....I don't have ambitions...I just want to live in peace and happy with my beloved. Your topic is attractive, khaa19

@All: Though I like to be both a businesswoman and a housewife, that is to say, I also love to do simple things to take care of my future husband and children, really I don't want to argue with boys who take the traditional role of women for granted. Such boys will never grow into responsible men or husbands, neither will they ever understand the true meaning of love/family.

I think your question is itself illogical and clearly obsolete in the second term, dude.
@Bad1988: That's the result of a investigation from a group of American scientist. I read it from a foreign magazine few years ago. They said that about 90% of teenager boys have watched sex films. lol, wat an interesting result.
And in VN, in "Muc Tim" magazine, they said that about 70% (I cant remember exactly the number) of teenager have watched xxx films (that's include girls). I wonder if their survey are true or false, lol. I read this when i was in grade 6 or 7. It impressed me so much.

well, really interesting topic....It' s really so early to be sure about our future:blush:
I just want to say out my thinking: that i will fly with my dream till there is a good place for me to stop and enjoy a new life...:secretsmile:
Anyway both being a good bussiness woman or being a good house wife is difficult but quite logistic...and i guess that majority of FTU's girls will said they want to become bussiness woman at this moment:68:

Yeah I was also "forced" to listen to those topic like this in my previous logic class.... and I think that the last result didn't stand for anything. Nothing is right or wrong here, it just depends on personal opinion. And I feel bored with these topics like this and do not know why logic teacher likes to force student to prepare for that, it is meaningless and waste of time. To be honest, although I get 9.5 for logic , I reget the time I spent for listening those topic.

I dont care if i can get good marks or not (Surely, i cant get good marks, because i'm very lazy, lol) but in my opinion, Logic class is very useful for us. We can learn how to make people believe in what we say :74: , for a businessman, its a very important skill :74:
My classmates are very pro in public talking. They changed nearly 30 girls' mind, made them their allies and won the discussion. How wonderful they are.

Hehehee, thanks for your compliment. Actually, it's not difficult to get high mark at all :nemoflow:. I don't get 10 point because I don't have plus points for presentation :matrix: . Dont' worry, the final examination is easy if you have good preparation. Coming back to your question :blush:, I think after listening to your friends' presentation, you are persuaded by their logical reason, but when you face the reality, you will encounter many problems. Having a wife who just wants to be at home and takes care of family is totally not good idea. She can't share your financial burden and help you if unfortunately you fail or lose your job. It's more stressful and maybe someday you will get irritated with her and think that she is useless. Of course, if your family is rich ( your parents are rich and they support you everything), so maybe it is possible that you have the prosperous life.For girls, I don't think that many FTU's girls just want to be housewives because it is waste of your effort and your time for studying during nearly 16 years :burnjossstick:.
I cant agree with u more. But, have u ever dream about a warm, peaceful family with laughing children and a beautiful wife ? I have that dream. Are u tired of eating fast food ? I am. Have u ever been stress badfully , wanna give up everything and just want to find a warm hug from ur mother ? I have.
Of course, man have to be strong in order to protect his family and his sweet love. But, sometimes, we're damn weak. Sometimes we cant stand up without our love / our wives.
Let imagine, someday, u'll become a businessman, u have to work very hard. U wake up early in the morning, go to work, face with tons of problems and u feel like everything is fighting agaisnt u. After a tired day, u come back home. what do u wanna see ? let me show u a normal picture. <If ur wife is abusinesswoman>
Ur son hasnt come back home yet. U're very worry, u call ur wife and she says that she has a meeting at that time. U go to the kindergarden and find ur son's crying and sitting with his teacher-who's thinking bad about u.
U go home with ur son, buy him a nice toy, hardly make him stop crying. And after that, u call the delivery service of KFC , eat stupid fast food again. U're crazy angry, u have a lot of problems and u want to find someone to share, u want to hug ur love, want to be a child again. U're jealous with ur son, he can cry with u-his father and sleep easily. U want to cry too... but simply u cant.
After all, ur wife is here, but she's tired, of course she has a lot of thing to do and has so much problems too. How can she be happy and share ur feeling ? How can she hug u tight and tell u to be strong, she cant tell u that u still have a happy family, she cant tell u to forget any bad things. Simply because she's in big problems, just like u.
U look at ur wife, u love her so much, u dont want her get hurt, u want to hold her with ur thin arms and kiss her. But, at that time, u're very tired and angry. U're crazy angry, "how, how can she leave my son alone ?" (man always think that taking care of children is woman's duty - that's real) After all, u go to bad with a hot head and find out that u cant sleep. u lay in bed and wonder why u marry ur wife ? U regret, u want to have another woman who can bring u happiness, who can make u believe that u're a strong man, not an idiot who has lower salary than his wife.
